Summer League The Summer league returns on Monday 30th April and Wednesday 2nd May at our new venue - Gresham Playing Fields, off Wilford Lane in West Bridgford. Nottingham Touch Club The first AGM took place at The Test Match Pub in West Bridgford. The Club Constiution was formed and the Committee elected. Boots take Winter League title! Boots claimed the Winter league title with a 10-4 win over BGS to back up their win in the autumn. A tight first half ended 5-3 to Boots, but they dominated much of the second period, and their ability to spread the ball wide with pace, ended up making the difference. The full play off results are as follows: Pirates 0 West Bridgford 4 (W/O) Touch & Go 3 Rebels 9 Black Ops 1 CBG 4 Bees 3 RATS 7 BGS 4 Boots 10 (CHAMPIONS) The trophy presentation will take place on Thursday 29th March from 8.30pm at The Test Match Pub in West Bridgford.
Midlands regional squad England Touch has announced the creation of seven regional 'franchises' to further develop touch across the whole country. Well done to the following who have been selected in the final Midlands region squad in the forthcoming Nationals Tournament at Lilleshall in April: Men: Ben Meakin, Matt Macleod, Dan Kirk Women: Lucy Snape, Mildrid Yeo, Chrissie Boreham, Kate Hyde, Vicky Gaskell, Rachel Lewis, Ali Gale, Sadi Musson and Julia Kang Perfect Motion & Nottingham's Chris Simon will be coaching the women's team along with Kellie Lee James, with Dan Mendis and John Lovell, from Cambridge coaching the men's. |
