Winter league The Winter league gets under way on Monday 16th January and runs until Monday 19th March with finals night. The ten teams entered are: Bees, BGS, Black Ops, Boots, Cr*p But Gorgeous, Pirates, RATS, Rebels, Touch & Go and West Bridgford. Fixtures are played between 7pm and 9.30pm on Monday nights at Rushcliffe Leisure Centre. Have a great league and good luck to everyone!
Autumn touch Congratulations to Boots who have won  the Autumn Touch League, beating BGS 7-1 in the final. Boots deserved their win, finishing top in the league and beating runners-up BGS in the process. Midlands regional squad England Touch has announced the creation of seven regional 'franchises' to further develop touch across the whole country. Well done to the following who have been selected to represent the Midlands region: Men: Ben Meakin, Matt Macleod, Dan Kirk, Stuart Thompson, Simon Beatham and Sam Keenan. Women: Lucy Snape, Abi Walters, Steph Bricker, Mildrid Yeo, Chrissie Boreham, Kate Carroll, Kate Hyde, Sarah Roper, Vicky Gaskell, Rachel Lewis, Dani Heeg, Ali Gale, Sadi Musson, Katie Short and Julia Kang. Perfect Motion & Nottingham's Chris Simon will be coaching the women's team along with Kellie Lee James, with Dan Mendis and John Lovell, from Cambridge coaching the men's. |
